A Robot Family

Hi, I'm just getting started with Wet Canvas and I thought I would share a recent digital illustration, done in Photoshop, although I also like to use Painter for some projects. This was painted directly in Photoshop using a variety of layers, brushes and blending tools. I guess I don't have to mention that it's not a paint over, huh?

Re: A Robot Family

Great...it looks like ET has come for a visit with his big brother. Karen, I really like the imaginative look.

Re: A Robot Family

yes, I love the bright red eyes on the dark yellow. I love what I see as a goofiness to the creatures. It's like they're bizarre looking, but sweet and silly.

Re: A Robot Family

Thanks everyone. I forgot to set an email notification so I didn't realize anyone had commented. I appreciate your thoughts.
TWTom, you're right, goofiness and silliness was definitely intended. This was an entry for Illustration Friday, and I didn't feel like painting anything scary on the "robot" theme.
