Morning All!

I'll let George know that it is St George's Day. Nothing like having a day with your name on it!

It's early Saturday evening here. The boys just came home from skiing and look suitably wind and sun-burned (they forgot the sunscreen). I suspect that George will be in bed early tonight.

Hope that your weather lifts so you can go out with your flag Billy!

Take care.

Billy and Christie! Who is St. George? I'm sure your George will love having a day named after him Christie!

Well Jessica is off at the Jr/Sr Prom now.... she looked so grown up!! I'm sure she's having a fantastic time!! I have been playing around with my new digicam and I have a few pics to show you of her and her date and a few of her. I hope I'm not hogging up the Wash with these. This is Jessica and Christopher.

There's no stopping me now!!! I will be carrying my camera with me everywhere I go!! I took a few pics while I was walking along the bike path of some poor Canada geese I pestered. I had to chase one down to get close enough!!

Well, ya'll have a great day or night or whatever it is for you...it's actually almost 9:30 p.m. here Saturday.

Take care

Here you are, a loooong scholarly article. St. George is the Patron Saint of England.

Patty, yes George did think it was his day when he was younger. It is not celebrated here, so no one knows what he is talking about.:

Great pictures of Jessica! Boy, prom gowns sure have come a long way since the one I wore!

Well, it did say long and scholarly. I need to look up a few of those words myself.

Hi Destany!

Well, my George has dragged himself to bed. Poor kid was falling asleep while eating his dinner.

Well, I'll pop in here before things get too far gone.

I still have a bad cough and a temp-a-chure...

Spritey, Jessica is gorgeous!! I know she'll have a wonderful time at the prom tonight..

I've been lurking off and on, wish I could respond to all.... I'll just have to try another day... If the pills the Doc sent haven't really worked by Monday, I'm going to call back....If I live that long...

Re: ++++Watercolour Wash Sunday 23rd April 2006++++

everyone,
It's nice to get in here before it is 3 pages long.
Just heading to bed myself. Today I did a lot of plastering of little holes and nicks in the walls and painted some doors and walls. The hallway looks lovely and pristine again.
I'm picking up my sister at 7:00 am to start a long day. We are hanging my little "show" at the hospital, shopping, cleaning and de-cluttering, and other odds and ends. It's nice to have someone keep you company (and make the tea) while you work. She finds it hard to do anything heavy due to severe arthritis but she helps all she can.

Hi billyg, Christie, Mark, Destany

Emilie - hope the meds work soon. White light beaming.

Spritey - Jessica looks like a beautiful young woman.

I better skidaddle. It will be a long day tomorrow.

Thanks for the nice comments about Jessica....who is still not home yet.

Emilie....you have an upper resp infection? Sounds like you have a bad one! I hope you get to feeling better real soon ((((((((Emilie))))))))))))

Ellen, you're getting ready to sell your house aren't you? That is such a lovely big house...... you might have to downsize on your Christmas decorations if you move to a smaller home. Good luck on the hospital show!

Well, I'm sleepy...good nite ya'll!

GRRRRRRWhat ? Who is St George, Im sure the dragon will be laughing his socks off. St George is the Patron Saint of England an IS celebrated all over the world by patriots of Mother England.its like me saying July 4th July4th ??? whats that all about. Even you colonials must know the make up of the Union Flag,Red White and Blue and all that jazz. My country flag is good old St Georges . Red Cross on White.!!! I think I'll go and sulk . Grrrrr. Dont say anything Lulu or I'll tell the truth about you.!!!!.

OOOPPSS!!! Sorry Billy!!! I honestly did not know who he was. I did google and find a site that explained it in a little more simpler terms that I could understand and it talked about the dragon and even said it's highly unlikely that Saint George even ever visited England. What's up with that?! Anyhow......sorry if I upset you. (or are you kiddin?) And......what's the real scoop on Lulu??? She really can't be that happy all the time can she?

here's the site I went to about St. George: St. George
