Blossom is great

What support are you using for the pastels? The one I've always used would go on strike if it rained - and come off the underlying support to boot! I'm hoping this summer that the abrasive supports that I'm now using will allow drops of rain to fall without there being cause for ripping hair out of scalp!

Re: flowering red currents

Great pieces, Dan. I really like them both. The blossom piece is more unusual it seems to me, compared to what I consider your regular work. It's a beauty!

Hey, great pic of you actually working !

Frank.

Re: flowering red currents

Thanks Bobbo
Hi Katherine, I am using mat(mounting) board with gesso on the back and colourfix or golden grounds for pastel on front, when I can afford them.
The rain drops make interesting streaks on the pastel but I wasn't far enouigh along to leave them in
Hi Frank the cherry piece was in the big city(Vancouver) I was killing time while others visited the gardens.
