Raven's Gift
Another oldie but goody.
From 1997 using Painter 2.0 (and Kai's Power tools for the textures in the rings).
Depicts an ancient legend of how mankind aquired fire from Raven, who stole it from The Creator, and also brought mankind from eternal night to the daylight.
It is from a T'lingit legend (I'm 1/4 T'lingit, 1/4 Tsimpsian, and 1/2 Pennsylvania Dutch), though other tribes have similar legends (tribes of Native Alaskans such as T'lingit, Tsimpsian, Haida, Hoonah, and many others), and there are a few versions of the story with minor differences each.
Original size is 7.4" x 9.25" @300-dpi, printed @16" x 20".
