no email link-through

I am showing a part of my email. I cannot click on the link and have it work. I cut and pasted at the bottom what happens when I do.

When I click on the link, I get-

Why is this happening? Not that I really want or need to see those messages.

You can't see them because they're spam which had already been removed by the time you got the email. Only Moderators and Admins can see the junk in the trash bin, which is why you got the error message you see.

Thanks. I wondered. I am so glad WC weeds out the spam. I see spam all over the place on other sites.
