Re: Newbie Glass Help and Coffee House
HI Karen... seriously... its been a while. I've been missing in action. Where is everybody??? Just stopping by to say hi. Hope all is well.
Well summer is just about done... we just got back from camping at a state campground that is just a 5 minute walk to all the beach you can stand... I just about lived on that beach for the 2 days we where there.
What did everyone do this summer anything exciting???

I came to see if the newbies were off the front page!
Started student teaching this week! It's been great so far. Challenging, but great. College classes get added in next week. Man am I tired!
Diane, Super jealous, but hoping to move closer to the ocean next year!

Re: Newbie Glass Help and Coffee House
Maggie... Good for you so glad things are going well with your degree..
When you move closer to the beach I'll be the jealous one.. I was only there for 2 full days.. we tried this new campground.. it was actually pretty nice other than no bushes between the sites.. so the sound would really travel.. lol.. oh the conversations we got to hear.. and not on purpose..
So glad you where able to pop in and hope that when classes start we will get some news from you. Hugs...

Re: Newbie Glass Help and Coffee House
Karen depending on the camper or RV... its not really camping. It has all the comforts of home. Tv, frig,stove.. bed.. and air conditioning.. so technically Your not.. lol... you will be fine. If you said pop up or tent.. then I'd say.. oh oh...
I know karen that homemade jam is making my mouth water.. will have to go toast some bread after this.
I've finally got organized with my bead pictures.. at least the ones i'm posting on etsy. So excited I made a sale in australia... woo hoo.. afraid to see what the shipping is.. should be ok..
Hope everyone is doing good.. enjoying this weekend. Been working in the yard and its a miracle I can still walk... just alot of hauling digging and weeding. seems like thats all I do...
Take care.. Diane

Re: Newbie Glass Help and Coffee House
2 trips to Costco today the first one we bought dog treats the second one we returned the dog treats. Got home and read the lable, this product is irradiated , thoroughly wash hands with soap and water after handling dog treats, not for human consumption. Need I say more??
Church was good Fred preached and he was great.
Diane I love that kind of camping where the only thing that says camping is the sign on the entrance to the place you're staying
Karen you will have a great time.

Let's see....did some garden clean-up, got the studio ready for watercolor class tonight and began putting the finishing touches on the playroom for the grandkids....that's about it for me.....hugs.

Re: Newbie Glass Help and Coffee House
I love camping and used to go all the time when I was dating a man who loved it. New man, no more camping. My nieces and I are talking about camping next summer. We want to go beach camping and maybe lake camping. We'll see. Finding a job comes first.
Sueze, Our food supply, whether for humans or animals, has gotten so frightening. It scares me more than nuclear war used to scare me when I was a kid. Glad you are protecting your beloved dog. I'm sure some people don't even see the warning.
Diane, Congrats on the sale to down under. I've found shipping to Australia is less than Europe. I used to love pop up tent camping, but wondering if I'm too old for it. I'm game to try.
Karen, You'll have such fun! I love waking up to cool camping mornings, sometimes having a deer in the campground, and cooking breakfast over a camp stove. Then there are campfires and hikes and creek walks. What's not to love?
Had my first college class this afternoon and I love my teacher! Glad to have a fresh face and someone who let us go two hours early on the first night of class! He says he is an easy grader as long as we do the work. You know I will. My kindergarten/first grade class time is still going great. There's a chance I could get moved to another class though because it isn't a "true" moderate/severe classroom this year so I'm not getting the experience I would need if I end up teaching in a "true" setting. Glad it's not up to me to decide because I really love where I am, but am torn.

Re: Newbie Glass Help and Coffee House
Hey karen thats what i'm talking about.. lol.. You'll love it.. After spending 25 years.. of regular tent camping..(before kids) to a pop up camper (after kids)
it really felt like camping.. now.. well.. (grown kids) we went to that next level. Hard sided 33 foot pull trailer. LOVE IT>>> It is roomy, with everything.. you need and then some. I'm tired of the true "camping" experience.. did it for so long... time for a little luxury.
Love getting up before DH having breakfast and enjoying my coffee relaxing enjoying the morning. Before the hussle and bustle of the campground gets going. Its so peaceful
Maggie My last "camping" was at the beach. But was not right on the water becasue we booked to late . it was still fabulous only a 5 min walk to the beach... as you know I"m always drawn to camping on the water.. lakes,oceans,rivers... love the water noises at night. if you ever come out to this area I'll be able to suggest different camping that has those great water sites..
So happy to hear you are happy with your teacher and that the teaching experience is rewarding and fun.
Sueze good thing you read that label.. How many people just assume it should be healthy for your pet. You can't trust anyone these days.. Good for you bringing it back. why do they sell crap like that?
this past weekend I spent so much time weeding.. my flower beds.. they actually look pretty good now. Can't say the same for my sore body.

Maggie it only cost 3.75 and I charge a 4.00 flat fee on anywhere other than the usa. But it will take 7-10 days to get there. first class international.
You are not too old, you will do great.
