Seriously planing on wanting to go out that way. I'll let you know not sure when. But that would be fun!

Hi all...glad Maggie brought you up to speed on where I am....we just crossed into oregon....and we will begin our drive down the coast tomorrow....I am loving every minute of the trip....wish I could have gone to the Gathering...but we just didn't schedule it properly....well...Next year Rochester NY!!!!

I try to log in everyday...but don't always have the wifi capabilities.....it will be nice when we get the van unloaded in CA...we have 12 boxes, 3 rubbermaids that belong to Hannah (dgd)...she will be transfereing from Hamlin in St Paul MN to Souther Oregon in Ashland....so we are bringing back her apartment stuff. and...one of my watercolor students has a son that is studying ceramics at Berkley...so I am bringing out his pottery wheel....always have to help out those "starving young artists"....so when that van is empty....TIME TO SHOP!!!

Well...keep torching everyone....I am missing the torch...big time!!!!

Maggie glad you're feeling better. My lampwork friend Wendy is teaching me how to tweet I would have tweeted you back but I haven't had re-tweet lessons yet

Tomorrow I'm selling for her as she demos at the Art in Action affair in Quallicum Beach. The arts council there is in a 100 year old school which is celebrating it's 100 years tomorrow. The building houses working artists, 3 galleries and an amazing gift shop. Should be a real fun day.

Karen your trip sounds wonderful as did Diane's. I didn't know you made glass rings. I need pictures!!!

Alli hope things are looking better than in your last post. Cute kid and the cats cute also.

I know Carlos said something but I can't remember what.

Don't know where the time has gone or what I have been doing with it, I haven't sat at the torch for well over a month but I have washed a few fleece but nothing in the last few weeks and it's almost August. I must get to the beach soon or I will be saying "what summer can't be over I haven't gone swimming yet"

Hi all....we are in California!!!!!

Just missed seeing Maggie in Oregon by one day...darn!!!!! We'll have to get together at Christmas.....

Sueze...the glass rings are actually wirewrapped beads....will post if WC will let me....it's never easy for me... And Get To The Beach!!!! You need the sun, water and air to refresh....I haven't torched in over a month either....missing it.

had a great time at the craft fair helping my friend Wendy. Wendy spent the whole day at the torch with about 8 min. for a quick lunch. She is so engaging when she demos there were alway a group standing around watching as she explained what she was doing and answering many questions that I didn't have the answer too. Her sisters came in the afternoon so I was able to have a look around at the other booths and did buy myself a black walnut lucet.

Taking it easy today. Sorry Maggie and Karen didn't get together.
Well that's all for me.

I'm back in Chico a couple of days early. My uncle in Tucson died on Saturday and I just found out yesterday. Will go to service, not sure when it is yet, but I needed to get home so I can leave when we know. May DRIVE there with my sisters because air fairs are so high. Ugh, don't want to think about it right now since I just got home after 7 1/2 hours on the road.

Maggie sorry to hear your sad new. 7 1/2 hrs is a long days drive and then to have to look at another long drive. Can your sisters take care of the driving?

Thanks Sueze and Karen. Heading most of the way to Tucson tomorrow. Twelve hours in a car doesn't sound like fun. Rest of the way on Thursday. At least I won't have to do any of the driving and I'll fly home with my brother on Friday. Sisters will have all the fun driving back. Not. Need to pack still. Really need to unpack before I pack!

In Arizona, left Chico at six am, arrived just inside AZ tonight around 9:30. Four hours of driving tomorrow to get to Tucson. Glad I'll be flying most of the way home.

Just me not going anywhere and glad of it. Unless I'm going to a cabin on a lake I want to stay home with my air conditioner.
Karen if I could get up the energy to take a picture of my lucet I'd post it but I don't. I't a thing for making cord for hanging pendants.
washed and dyed a bunch of Romney fleece today. Almost finished washing.
Still too hot to torch.
