Jenny won't be coming home as we expected today. She's developed a highly contagious infection in her colon that you only get in hospitals. I had to gown up, but yesterday, while the cultures were brewing, I was sitting on her bed. Hope I don't get it. I'm sick about this.

What!!!! That's insane....but Jenny's immune system is probably low...just like my dh....he can drive past a hospital and catch a staff infection. More hugs and prayers....

Oh no. I just dont even know what to say except we will continue our prayers for her and you for health and strength.

Oh Mallory, I was so hoping to read some good news from you. What is it with hospitals? Hope they get this under control and there aren't any other surprises. Love and prayers to both of you.

Well, the mama bear in me has calmed down a bit, which is good, since then I can be rational whenever the doctor chooses to arrive to check on Jenny. The nurse just took Jenny's temp. Normal! That is great news!!!!

She won't be going home tomorrow. She's still way too sick. Until her stomach issues are under control, she won't be home.
