Good morning everyone. I moved my torch back out onto the back porch yesterday afternoon.

More light - more room.
Our "still under warranty" is getting fixed this morning. Whew!
Another beauty out there today.

Ginger, hope you are snoozing now so that your brain can rest up and get ready to start working again!

Ellen, are you on a hot head? I would hate to have to move my torching station, too much junk! Glad you're back on the porch where you prefer torching.

Dilly, hope all went well at the doctor's appointment for the newest babe.

The torch was fun again yesterday. I'm definitely out of practice, but the skills are starting to come back. I just love May when I am off work and the kids still have a little school left. I have the day to do what I want uninterrupted and then I get the kids all evening. It's nice. Then when the kids finish school at the end of the month, I've already had some "me" time and I'm set to enjoy having them all day. It's a great gig, if you can get it. lol

Beth......sounds like a wonderful May leading into an outstanding summer. Get those glass skills back up to speed!

Thank You for the good thoughts to the new bundle of joy! I am going to ask for even more from you all, prayers if thats your thing, white light good wishes whatever you got!! The new ultrasound did reveal a club foot, but it was a dark spot on the spine in the neck that was the new heads up. Shannon's Dr. does not want to guess about it and She is headed to the University of Michigan Motts Childrens Hospital on Monday to meet with specialist and go over her ultrasound and possibly another set. It could be nothing it could be very bad! A club foot is not always, but can be, a precursor to other things. From what I understand (and I am just grasping at some of the info Shannon told me) The club foot is mostly caused by blood flow problems and that could mean more, or just the club foot. Depending on Shawn getting the time off, I might be traveling to Ann Arbor with her Monday Morning!

The 15 mintues I spent with Shannon she was doing very good, but I think the additional 2 hours I watched Brock, gave the kids time dealing with this. They took off this morning to Lima, OH for a Ultimate Truck Show, where Shawn is representing his Company.

Papa and I are holding our breath and waiting for more information before we deal with this information. We will love this child no matter what additional baggage it brings into the world with it!!

One request, can we just keep this info here in WC. If it is broadcast on the WWW it will because Shannon wants to share, not because Grammie opened her big mouth. You guys are MY support group!

So we are home with 65 pairs of additional shoes for me to write up and enjoying just being home!

Sounds pretty nice Beth. Have a nice relaxing time.

Kind of sleepy today. Was at the studio last night learning how to make something that I have helped make several times, but never actually done myself. Couple that up with it is grey and rainy out, and I think it may be one of those coffee/tea days.

That blankity blank yellow cat of mine just rolled my best bead of the week down the bathroom drain.

I had it setting out to take to my friend but Hoosier got to it first. Anybody want a free cat. He's an angel.

thank you for your support. Sorry about your bead, Beth. I think I have shared before that one of dd cats took out an entire mantel of artwork a few ears back. Over $400 worth and all he got was an inky paw from signing the I am sorry card he gave me!

Dilly, Hoosier did not give me an apology card, but he did curl up in the sink and purr over the bead. I think he was trying to hatch it. (That is better than thinking he was purring in delight over his accomplishment.) If he had taken out $400 worth of artwork, his furry behind would be outside again!

Did the jury process for the Country Club show in November and I'm in :-) Got notification last evening.... so that makes 3 weekends in November that I will have shows.....

Filling out the app and running to the mailbox, store to get a fruit tray for the opening of our gallery "Artists Choice", kiln time, make jewelry for the shop in Golden and the Assistance League of Denver.... Not letting the grass grow under my feet!

Beth.....it was the dozen roses on the mantel that DD had gotten that pushed poor Twig to the max and the fall of a few good things. He lived to be a ripe old gentlemen of 16! He was a great cat!!!

Leslie.....let me get this straight, you are retired right???? Thought so, but you are busting some humps keeping up with your day.

All is set up for Mondays visit to the Maternal Medical Group at U of M Hospital. Shawn got the time off! They are waiting for the approval of the Insurance Company. But have the cash to take care of it if they get the run-around!!

Back to writing up shoes. Had a nice lunch in the back yard under the umbrella! Man have I got weeds to pull!!!

Retired would mean that one has a retirement fund. NOT! I'm just at home, unemployed.... whatever.... Best part about shows is talking to everyone and doing a bit of educating.

Glad that Shawn got time off and keeping eyes, fingers and toes crossed. Hang in there!
