Talking FND Unexpected artist
Hi peeps. Well I wimped out but my wife wanted to get involved so I showed her the pics for the drawing night and she choose the two Macaws. She did this drawing freehand in about an hour and a half. I AM IMPRESSED!!! She does some great colored work. Drawn on colored paper (8 1/2" X 11") (framed in photoimpact) using soft chalk pastel and a few colored conte pencils. She did such a GREAT job I just had to show it off to you all. She would love some input on this drawing.

PS: I will be posting another chalk pastel drawing she did of her mom's dog.

Cool Artdude, I can't decide which I more jealous of, having a wife that draws, or having a wife that draws soooo well? Tell her to sign up and join us... she is always welcome...

I am impressed too !!!

Lovely soft feathery texture, and I like the hint of the background colour in the birds themselves.
