Tea

This piece is done for the newest illustration friday topic, the topic is "Tea"

The first thing that came to my mind is a bit from a Leonard Cohen lyrics to the song Suzanne. The illustration is done with that bit of lyric in mind, mixed media on paper, 8,7" x 11,8"

Re: Tea

Being British born and raised I drink tea like there is no tomorrow Your illustration says it all for me LOL! It's great. I love the way you did the hair. Oh and the teapot is really nice, very delicate, and she is too, which is what drinking tea from a real bone china is like, a delicate ritual.

Re: Tea

Oh, this is gorgeous. I'm a big tea-drinker too, so it is dear to my heart. I love the teapot, and the lovely bone china teacups and saucers. Really, really cute piece of artistry.

Val.
