Cool

I love the soft, loose feel of this. I like the way the left fades and the yellow highlight on the neck.

This is very good. Hard to believe you did it in an hour. Just great.

thanks!!!

hey everyone,

thanks for commenting on my work...had a great time doing this...i missed last week's and almost missed this one...5pm pacific time sounds like it's easy enough but actually on a friday night that's when everything begins for me, so, to make this one was really difficult; glad i did!

as i said before, i wish i could have attempted a watercolor for this, but i didn't get to animal's posts until 5:45pm. and since i didn't want to waste anymore time rummaging around for paper and supplies, i decided to go for the digital drawing...no mess and very easy to do...and since i wasn't actually prepared for such beautiful pictures...(hope i'm not being disrespectful to any previous hosts out there...and actually, with a name like "animal" i should have anticipated this one...hats off to you animal for an awesome hosting of the friday evening drawing...)...anyway, for me, this was a nice change of pace which is what i'm trying to say...

wingnut...i thought the flamingo from the original photo looked a little strange w/o his legs, but i just copied what i saw...guess i should've cropped higher...

orchidlover...yeah, only an hour, but with a wacom pad and a cool drawing program (painter), it's really easy...

thanks again, people...look forward to friday...

andy
