Moon And Night Threads

There's been a whole lot of night and moon threads lately, so on Frank's suggestion, I thought I would gather them all together so everyone can look and compare the different techniques and interpretations. I'm sure you'll agree this is a fascinating series, well done to all participants. If any one else has a night scene over water feel free to add it to this thread.

Thank you so very much Marty for bringing them all together for us! I missed seeing so many of them when I was browsing through. So many different and wonderful interpretations, I love them all!

Re: Moon And Night Threads

It really is wonderful to see them all together. Now I want to do a night-time painting! I'll have to look in the RIL and see what I can find!

Re: Moon And Night Threads

These are beautiful paintings. I'm floored. I could sit and stare at each one for hours I think and lose myself in them. Sigh...

Excellent work.

Re: Moon And Night Threads

Haven't been around WC for a few months, but started out checking things out again and ran into this thread ....WOW!!! Thought I'd send in a few contributions, if I can remember how to post this stuff. All are acrylics painted in the last couple of years. Enjoy. Marge Cline

Re: Moon And Night Threads

Marty
Fabulous collection of night threads!
Thanks for putting this together.
I went night sailing for about 5 years on my Alberg.
Many moons ago while working on a 24" by something moonlit seascape my cat decided to run through the oil palette, mainly whites and proceeded to do a bizarre dance on my painting. I chucked it.
I know have a German shephard. lol

WOW!

These are all such wonderful pieces! Thanks Marty!

Wind Song, ! You say 'I know have a German Shepherd' does that mean you chucked the cat? Or the painting?!
