Re: Thursday morning how are ya's???!!!
Hi everyone,
I haven't checked in recently, but wanted to wave "hi".
I'm headed for a Pam Dugger class on hollows, which will be fun. This is my first class that works with Bullseye, and that will be a treat.
Have a great day,
Marcy

Lenda,
Morning.... Up in the 60's here today and then back in the 30's tomorrow. A paycheck... something good does come out of all that training. Only 3 more days of training and I am back to one job again. Good thing, I have been dragging this old butt around for a bit. Ellen, Many thoughts for you. Everyone, have a lovely day.
HI, Marcy

Re: Thursday morning how are ya's???!!!
Lenda ~ You are getting the weather we had a few days ago. I hate to tell you, but it's only going to be around 20 here and for the next couple of days. Enjoy the 60 degrees.
Marcy ~ Enjoy your Pam Dugger class! I'm jealous.
Tomi ~ Whoo Hoo... a paycheck! Won't it be nice to have only one job again.
Off to start the kiln and get a few beads in. Think I'll try some sculptural beads today. Well, at least that's what I have in mind. Don't know if the bead muse has arrived here yet. She seems to still be on vacation...
Then off to work and stop and have my blood sucked on the way home... What a thrilling day...

Morning everyone!
Lenda....congrats on the paycheck, enjoy!
Marcy....have fun and learn lots at your class!
Tomi....which job is going to be your one job?
Leslie....So when do we get to see the fusing photos?
I bet all our buddies on the West Side of the Mitten are huddled next to their radios listening for the list of school closings! We got freezing rain and slop here in the central Michigan. Then it will hit 50 degrees this afternoon with Thunder Storms!!! Never say it's boring here in the Great State of Michigan!
Well I was actually sick yesterday with a bad tummy ache, I am feeling better today and hope to actually accomplish something! Have a great day everyone!
Dilly

You are soooo right, but no such luck here! I have homeroom students coming through the door as I type. We've only had one snow day this year and one two hour delay. Teachers are more disappointed than the students!
Hope you're feeling better today Dilly! ((((((Ellen))))))

Re: Thursday morning how are ya's???!!!
Good morning everyone, should be a great day in the 60's here too. I have a friend and her 13 y/o daughter coming over today. The daughter has shown an interest in beadmaking so she is getting a lesson. Of course safety first! Do you think 13 is too young for this? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
Hope everyone has a beautifully creative Day!

Re: Thursday morning how are ya's???!!!
Hi guys. Thank you so much for your thoughts; they really do help. Yesterday was tougher than I thought it was going to be but I made it through.
I did make some beads day before yesterday and took pictures yesterday so I'll post in the showcase. Certainly nothing fabu but at least I sat down at the torch.
Dilly - sorry to hear you weren't feeling well yesterday. My mother was up all night with the flu - both ends.
Robin - what a drag; you're in school? Ours was called off today and we start our mid-winter break tomorrow and it continues through Monday. Yeehaw!!!
Enjoy your space wherever you are. Ciao

Re: Thursday morning how are ya's???!!!
Lindaglo....Hi there! I've had my boys make beads & they were 9,11 & 13 when they did it....I can't get them near the torch anymore though. I guess they'd rather be snowboarding or something. If you are right there I think 13 is a great age to teach them.
Have a great one...janie
P.S. Where in TN are you? I lived in Memphis for 7 years.

Re: Thursday morning how are ya's???!!!
Good Morning Glassy Peeps! It's been sunny but cool most of the week here. The tulips are popping up and the day is looking promising now that I am feeling better. (hate being sick)
The guy that is putting in our livingroom fireplace will be here today so we are thrilled to be getting that particular part of the remodel in. Can't wait to start putting in the slate tiles in.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and may you get the weather you want!
