Libido

MY IMAGE(S):

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Title: Libido
Year Created: 1994
Medium: Other
Surface: Board
Dimension: 29 x 42 inches
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!

MY COMMENTS:
Encaustic.
One of my first work in encaustic.
Painted the melted wax first as "pointilist", with a hairbrush, then let the colours fusion with a hot air gun.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
All words are welcome

Hi Mari.... This is so colorful and fresh looking.... it looks good enough to eat ... reminds me of melted cheese and parsley! Beautiful coloration! Donna

Re: Libido

Very pleasant visually, but I have a difficulty making an emotional recognition. I like the choice of color, the texture and the purity of color which seems to always occur with Encaustic.

Re: Libido

I agree with Corvus. The emmotional recognition is somewhat lacking. The colours are splendid as usual.

Re: Libido

Not sure I understand the process of "Encaustic" but I sure do like the results. Very unique.

Re: Libido

I see a mouse flying out at us at the bottom near the center. He's yellow and his head is tilted.

I like this. Bet it's really cool to see in real life.
