Quite dramatic. I like it a lot. The ink really has an exciting effect.

Eileen,
Sundiver said it best about how dramatic and exciting this is. Your daffodil with the cup facing to the right grabs my eye again and again especially. Just right.
Great job, and have a great day!

I've always liked the way the india ink makes things stand out. Works esp well on flowers I think. Nice work! I also like the colors you've used, Eileen!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I have one disclaimer--the watercolor pencil in this scanned REALLY dark, especially the background which is actually a VERY pale wash, hardly visible unless you're up close. If someone has any secrets to dealing with color and the scanner, please enlighten me. Thanks

Ah, my new favorite! This one really 'grabs' me. I've always loved these mediums together and you did a lovely job of it!

Thanks, Gisela and Debs. And thanks again to all of you who took the time to comment. I'm really enjoying these weekly drawing events. All of you are so supportive and generous in your remarks. That encourages me, and seeing how each of you interpret your choice of image is fun and most inspiring. I look forward to next time.
