FND2/8 Never tried flowers before

But of course, that's one of the reasons theseevents are so much fun ! The dafodils took me ~1 hour. I pooped out after only about 40minutes on the rose.

I couldn't decide between the iris, daffodile (sp?) and the orchids, finally I chose the orchids.

I think you ought to give flowers a strong go. I like you rendering of the daffodils in particular. Very simple, like a daffodil. I especially like the one with the cup pointed toward the right. Good job for around an hour. I did a single orchid - and it took me right to the end of the two hours!

wally's mom....wow you got the dang things down!....nice form....it took me the longest time just to rough it in...kinda makes you look at flowers a whole differnt way doesnt it?...you did great!!

Very nice ... like the detail of the petals you've got going with them both. I've tried roses before but they end up looking more like pebbles on a road. Think I may try the daffodil for the fun of it.

How come everyone that says they can't do flowers has done flowers so well??...I will have to participate in one of these soon I think, just to know what I can and cannot do and have fun like you are all having.
