Re: tree peonies

Very nice chinese painting indeed. Love the simple but determining brushstrokes. Should there be another channel for chinese painting?

I love your painting. Colors are so vivid and bright. What brand of pigments do you usually use?

Did you put few washes of the color when you painted peonies?

Right now I'm learning about different brands of pigments and i really like the color you displayed n your painting.
I use still my russian brand "Neva", which is very popular in Russia, but there was no any "foreign" brands on the market.

Thank You in advance

Aselka

After a hard day at work [?] and a gruelling game of tennis my eyes must be feeling it. I was expecting 3 ponies. What a pleasant surprise! Excellent colour choice and application - love the deep dark accents.

Rosanna, a fantastic painting -- more lovely than any adjective.

An excellent composition -- very well balanced.
Your palette is Great.

I wish I understood colour theory better so I could more fully understand how you put this painting together colour wise. The colours all work in harmony -- Excellent!

This has been a pleasure to view -- Thank-You,

the colour i used in this one are: yellow, orange.blue.purple.black and green
since yellow and blue makes green. blue and red makes purple,
so they have a common element BLUE.
yellow and red makes orange , the commomt in green and orange is yellow...
and so on, so all the colours in this painting are sharp but still in harmony....this is what i know.

Very pretty. All these bold colors work well together.

(I see the colors are similar to the painting in your tinyhead - must be your favorites.)
