You're WAITING? Good grief, woman! Get out the screwdriver and the pliers and get going!

I LOVE mine. Hooked it up myself, too. I'm impatient. It is SO much nicer than my poor old mini.

Re: Just got my new mini cc!!!

I am so tempted to get one too. Anyone use the Mini CC with 1 or 2 concentrators? Thanks.

Let me guess? FedEx or UPS.
They both charge a horrendous handling fee for imported packages.
Canada Post charges only GST & PST & a small handling fee of about $5. (If they mess up the amount due you can dispute it.)
I have learned not to have anything delivered from the US by Courier.

LOL..you're right Darlene...I can probably mount the torch to my desk...but as far as hooking the rest of it up...I'm tying into my natural gas line from my dryer...I think I'm going to leave that to someone who knows what they're doing! DH is a plumber so I will leave it to him...
I didn't get it at the door so I just assumed it was a duty charge..it turned out to be a combined gst and broker(?) charge...any other canadians shopping US get these charges at the door? I just think its crazy but I have to say even with that it was less than I would've paid in Canada for a mini CC torch, so I don't feel too bad.

Re: Just got my new mini cc!!!

I use a minin cc and have the ability of two concentrators. Hubby hooked it up with a Y setup and knobs to turn one or two on for either my torch or hubby's torch. Works great with 104 or boro.

Re: Just got my new mini cc!!!

I hope you love your torch as much as I love my mini CC. I use a 20 psi concentrator (10 LPM). It runs really great. In fact, I was overheating a lot of glass and had to start working on a smaller flame. You will also be glad to know that the Carlisle company is awesome to work with and really stand behind their product. I had to have one repaired, and Chris was just great about it.

Re: Just got my new mini cc!!!

Oh I'm sooo glad to hear all of this..I'll be using tanked oxygen for just a while because I had a 5 ft tank given to me..but I'll be saving my ebay pennies for a concentrator as soon as possible...good to know it runs well with them!
I have LOVED my loyal HotHead, in my opinion, you cannot beat them for someone to begin melting glass on. They're very non-threatening and the slowness that you begin to hate is an asset at the beginning. You can't learn to run before you can walk..and the HH is an awesome top-notch beginner torch!
thanks for all the input! it was just that that helped me go with this particular torch..what would I do without you guys??

Re: Just got my new mini cc!!!

Glad to hear everyone likes their mini cc's. I'm looking to get one but can't seem to find a good price, anyone know where I can get one for less than list? Thanks in advance!!
