I haven't been doing any painting to speak of since Christmas but managed to get this one done from last weeks WDe this morning. Paintes in painter with mostly artists oil/various brushes.
Would print out at only 6"x 4"

That fish is a beauty. It won't print good at bigger sizes?

Re: Parrotfish

Thanks Janet. I only painted it at 150ppi 6"x4" This will never get printed as its just not something I would ever put on the wall.

At 150 dpi you can printed bigger, maybe not for you but I am sure there are lost of people that like to hang on their wall ocean images.

Re: Parrotfish

Well, it could be printed bigger but I would't. 150 is the minimum I will print at. Less than that and the print quality really does suffer. I don't market my digital art so I only print out paintings that are either requested or something I want to hang for myself.

Re: Parrotfish

A parrot fish? Does it talk?
Nice painting, but I agree about not wanting to hang it. It's interesting what we decide is a worthy pic and what is mundane. It has nothing to do with the skill factor I think. It would need another couple of fishes to become interesting?
