Two new aceo paintings - x post

I was really pleased with the reception that I got on the last ones, so here are two more. These are both done in oils. Hopefully they will do as well on ebay as the last pair did *crosses fingers*.

Wonderful work, just wondering do you guys use magnifying glasses when you work,my eyes arent to good these days.
I s it hard to do mini in oils,I use watercolor as I cant use oils as they give me head aches, but am interested in how you find them for painting small scale.
Cheers Kim

Personally, I do not normally use any kind of magnification although other people might, I don't know. I can't seem to look through something at my art and still be able to tell where my brush is going... That being said, I'd be lost without my Ott light. Full spectrum lighting does wonders for being able to really see what you are doing on the smaller stuff.
