Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter Q-Q-Quickies - come on, get moving!

I don't really enjoy these quick ones, but have done my share - sometimes for an hour each session. Some people love them.

I thought I'd share some for you to see that the typical life drawing session is a workout and not really about producing finished drawings.

30 seconds, one, two, three, five, ten minutes - a mixed bag here.

18x24 sheets each (cropped for posting).

such quick ones reveal the sure and confident hand...and good eye, not to mention an undergirding understanding of anatomy.

Nice work here Jimmy...

I love the last sketch. That must have been a killer for the model to hold.

I've come to the conclusion that you work 2-3 times faster than I do. I'm lucky if I can get a 20 minute pose to look as good as one of your 10s...or even a 5!

Thanks Larry, Christina, Ben, Brian and Jamie.

These quick ones don't leave much time for thinking ... which is fine by me.

I thought this area circled in red was very well observed and drawn. Kudos to you!

Carrie, I didn't see this ... thanks.

Sometimes with difficult poses, I just pick a spot (a knee, a hip) and draw and compare shapes and angles fron there.
