African Shadow Murals

Simple niches glazed in orange and yellow with the shadows of a sunrise. I painted this in 4 hours for clients last week.

I may go back and add more colors in the sky...the clients wanted to live with it for a bit.
What do you think? More colors or leave it alone?
Becky

OOOHHH, Becky! This is stunning! Personally I think it looks great the way it is, but a redder color up high would add some interesting color variation... now, I wold only do it if you can get a nice blend. Otherwise, leave it alone! I really like this, congrats! And the carved giraffe is soo neat, makes it look like it's in the location.

That is really stunning Becky, I wouldn't change a thing. The pale background allows the client to add accessories in any shades they wish, and they can change the colour effects themselves with lighting. As it is is perfect, either for sunrise or sunset.
