i love it ... the colours ... the pose ... the brushwork ... just feel *her* left foot looks a little too large ...

and i think the eyes/nose are spaced oddly on her face.

LOL. I wonder what is in those boxes on the footpath! If you do happen to pop in there, please let me know what they are selling cos I was never too sure.

Very nice painting. I agree with the comment about the nose/eyes. The nose looks like it's pointing to our left and the eyes are aiming to our right. Perhaps it's just the screen image, but check it out. The left sleeve (our right) on the coat appears longer than the other. Although her hand might be hidden under one, they should still be the same length. Everything else looks lovely to me!

I think the coat is fairly true to the ref photo. Basically I think the coat was too big for her and she had pulled it down on her left side. But either way, this is what attracted me to do the painting. I like the way she is unaware of her appearance and is just absorbed in her own world.
