Monet Fan !!!!!









Hi All,

This is (obviously) a take on the great Monet. Acrylic on 11X14 canvas board.
I have been experimenting with brush strokes, texture and - Color! No browns or blacks used in this.
Hope you will share any thoughts/suggestions; they all help.

You've certainly captured lots of light in this Jon ....... lovely colour and luminosity in those dancing brushstrokes!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, lovely! Monet made me start painting about 5 years ago. I had seen some grainstack paintings in a traveling exibition at the MFAHouston. I've been painting ever since. I LOVE your take. love love love. Maybe I should do another. I've been craving somethin besides the non-rep stuff I usually do.
