I really like this tool. I would like to know where the 'saved' colours are stored and in which format, so I can locate them on my PC. Does anyone know the answer?

Sorry I can't help with this. You can retrieve your saved colours with the dropdown at the top but I don't know where they are stored on the wc servers.

Have you tried the Colr Theory forum?
