MP3 Medusa
Hey Guys,
I thought I would post something that I have been fumbling around with for a few days now. I thought it would be funny to render the Medusa of Myth as a modern day teenager  . I taped my mech pencil to the lower right hand corner to give you some scale of the drawing. I started off with a gridd to lay out the basic head shape then switched to freehand and I'm letting my imagination run with it  . I know it's a bit weird but my teenage son and all his friends seem to be getting a big kick out of watching it develope  . Thanks for looking and your comments.

Awesome! This is my kind of art!!! I can't wait to see it finished either.
The only thing is, you have my sympathy doing a piece that big in pencil...oy!

I really, really like this. It's not only well done, but that a very interesting concept to blend those two together. I'm looking forward to seeing how this shapes out.

Thanks everyone,
for all the comments . Well, here's a "moderate" update....only a couple hours of more doodling, but progess is progress. I still have a lot of work to do....I'll hold back on adjusting a lot of the values untill I do some more balancing to the composition. Thanks again for all your great comments and for taking the time to look at my artwork .
