Omg...I won a HUGE photo contest...
Had to share this with all you here...as I think I gained so much from this site and the ability to have my work out there!
I entered the photo contest for the magazine...Dogs in Canada Annual...which is a huge magazine going to people all across Canada and in book stores etc for the next year. It's a magazine about an inch thick. Well...I got an email this evening from someone giving me heck for not telling them that I won the contest!!! I was like...WHAT...lol. Seems a photo I entered of a white bull terrier pup in the ocean with her yellow smilely face football WON the GRAND PRIZE....which is a Nikon 3100 camera kit!!!
I'm so in SHOCK...LOL.

Thanks everyone! It's a smaller digital...only 3.1 mp...and as I have a Nikon D70 I won't really ever use it...so now to determine who will get it...lol.

Tat I agree with Rob, a little camera for the pocket or purse is real handy for grabbing reference shots and happy snaps.

You guys are great! It's wonderful to get such positive comments...does alot for the ego...lol.
Found out a little more about my prize...lol. I have not won a digital but have won a NikonF75 SLR kit with 28-80 zoom. As I do have a Nikon F90 already...somebody in the family will be getting this...lol.
And...I got my copy today of the magazine. It's such a thrill to see your photo in print!
