Portraiture Forum Guidelines
Welcome to the Portraiture Forum!
If you are brand new, we suggest you read the User Agreement to familiarize yourself with the contract between WetCanvas and our members.
Since this is a subject specific forum we will have a diversity of mediums. Digital art is acceptable as are other mediums with the human face as its subject, however, if it is digital, please identify it as such. This is a people portraiture forum so no dogs, cats, cows, lions, tigers...no animals, in other words. People only! Please post your photographs in the Photography Forum.
It would be most helpful when posting your work to provide some information which would be beneficial in obtaining the most valuable feedback from forum members such as:
medium
size
source of reference (life or photo)
butt icon, if necessary
and a request for critique.
If you'd like a critique, it would also be helpful to post the photo from which your painting was painted.
Positive, constructive critiques are welcome and encouraged. This is a forum designed for learning and the development of our members. We encourage you to share your feedback with other members which also keeps the community developing and thriving. Kudos are welcome as well as suggestions where improvements can be made. Please show consideration for your fellow artists. Many times it's all in the delivery of the message/critique.
Please only post one new thread per day to give everyone a chance for their work to be seen. Each new thread pushes another off the main page where it is highly unlikely that it will ever be seen again.
