Pictures of Different Pastel Sets

Since I have spent days organizing and re-organizing the very best of my pastels, I thought some of you pondering which sets to add to your wish list might like to see the pictures- none are whole sticks- they are all broken pieces so that I can see them all without the labels and all at once. Hope you enjoy my obsessive pastel nature.

First is the Great Americans:

Then the Mount Visions:

Then the Unisons:

Then Giraults:

And BlockX:

Please feel free to add your own to this thread so we can see them all!

OK....ummmm...these are just half sticks right? Ummm....I would not mind at all giving a home to the OTHER half!!

Re: Pictures of Different Pastel Sets

Well, sorry guys, but I put the half on there that had not been used or dropped (for the most part) on the floor in the picture. Um, the goat ate them? But when I win the Lotto.....I'll just send you new full sets.... of course, I would have to start PLAYING the Lotto, but my husband does not like the math...

Wise man...

As a longtime professional pastelist let me point out that I have NOwhere near the amount of pastels you do! <giggle> Why is that? I need to rectify this problem, I guess.

Yes, Deborah, you need to get into acquisition mode! Surely you need a few more Ludwigs? A couple dozen GAs? I know how you are able to resist, tho....with that one box you use already full up, why buy more, right? Wish I had that box! Any chance of you showing that box again? I'm sure Donna hasn't seen it, etc.

Re: Pictures of Different Pastel Sets

How lovely! Half a box EMPTY and just waiting to be filled! You'll have to think of what those missing colours were when you last plein aired! Greens? Earths? Blues?
The choice is enough to fill another ten boxes! Wheeeeeeeeeee!

Re: Pictures of Different Pastel Sets

Shaking my head in disbelief - I have nowhere that amount of pastels. And my boxes don't look that either - even after I spent weeks organizing, culling, re-organizing. After the last painting, they are a mess again.

Re: Pictures of Different Pastel Sets

"Santa" frowns because the accountant ("Santa's" other hat) says the pastels are write-offable but gifts aren't!

Here's my box:

Everything's in it--my GAs, Schminckes, Unisons, Ludwigs, Giraults, a few Nupes and Townsends. I only have one other set (more like leftovers) and that's the giant Senneliers. The box is approximately 16x30". That's all, folks!
