Great color Ruth. The atmospheric perspective is very nice, especially on the first one.
My only suggestion would be for more edge variety. This is especially absent on the second piece. All of the strokes seem to be soft and of similar size. Some hard edge definition in the foreground would be great.

I like'm both! I am particularily drawn to the skys. I think that they are both a "good fit". Nice! I am trying to pay more attention to my own skys, so, I add my thanks as well. (hey, wish you could be around more often )
