Something about Mary

Grandsons sleeping, I did a small practice painting on Mary, as my sister had asked me to do one of Mary, one of Jesus for her bedroom wall. So, practice, practice, practice....and Mary got ruined....so I fiddled instead.

But I actually like this second one, even though the colors got wayyyyy off...I just like it. Nothing that I would give to anybody, though I might consider it for myself....just because I like unusual things.



Wet paints on parts of it yet.

I don't think the colours are way off!!! I do like it just as it is.
The way you did the shawl on her head is lovely, makes it look like stained glass!!
It is such an emotional piece
