Indeed NOT getting tired of your work...ever! I love all of these and you, my friend, are getting so very expert with this digital medium! I hope some of your students next term will be getting some lessons in this! The sitting pose you've just finished has to be one of my favorites...you have done such a fantastic job on this one...the colours and skin tone especialy are brilliant! Well done Mark!! Lots of clappies for you

Re: Virtual Life Class 4

I'm with Pam...Not in the slightest bit bored with your work...in this push button, instant gratification age it's nice to see such high quality coming out so quickly. Just be careful you don't lose you ability to mix paint

While your studies with the doodah were always good...the finished paintings are getting better and better.

You should also be aware, Mr Malone, that I blame you entirely for the fact that the song "Science Fiction Double Feature" has been rattling around in my head for most of the last 24hrs. Thanks for that

Re: Virtual Life Class 4

Well now, are you happy? We all have it in our heads and must sing it for the next 24 hours!!! Yes indeed, thank you ever so much!!! Can you hear it being sung as you read this, all the way round the world in hundreds of languages in hundreds of artists heads.. La la ta tum ? Next thing you know we'll all be speaking with cartooney bubbles and having to get new avatars to match this tangent....sadly, I don't think there is any way to make me believeable as Dale Arden, not without total head to toe plastic surgery...was there a Granny in the story anywhere????... What's to become of us...where will it all end.....
Stay tuned boys and girls for the next exciting episode.......

Pat...they're at it again and slowly getting us indoctrinated in these interesting and creative tangents that have nothing to do with drawing you...Yet...compelling and almost hypnotic.....where is my bag of popcorn and box of Jujubee's...I am ready for the next installment of Flash Gordon!

Hello Mark -

My work was done in Photoshop CS.
She is a great model and beautiful woman.
Hope she likes this as much as I enjoyed working on it.

Re: Virtual Life Class 4

Mark and Mr. S.....shame on you.....you two should be sent to the naughty corner for the continuation of this highjacking....*tsk, tsk.*

Aside from that, Mark, I like how you made it seem as if I were sitting on a bed instead of a bench and you've definitely caught my overall look (especially the eyes) with your last offering! Good work!

Miss J...did you use the pastel tool in Photoshop? This is a great piece of work! Nice, dramatic lights and darks.....

Pat

Re: Virtual Life Class 4

Pat - I use the art history brush - several layers with different blending modes and texture overlays. It's a technique I am trying to perfect but not quiet there yet. The pratice is paying off - I can see an improvement in my style as I go along.

Heah!!!!! I just noticed WE art TWINS !

I noticed we're art twins, too! Good thing your name isn't Patt, as well...things could get a bit confusing, lol!

Ooooh...excellent..now I am Dale Arden...well, now I've been drug into the tangent, I must find a way to make this my avatar....for the time being. How to do that? Any suggestions? Really great photo manipulation Mark! My sister says she used to pretend she was Dale Arden after watching the serial on Saturday mornings at the theater

BTW Pat, I will be doing more paintings of you...in fact, I have begun one that I hope you will like...it will take me a few days though. Haven't forgotten the purpose of this thread!

Miss J...wonderful work...these are just beautiful paintings and you have our Pat spot on! I have yet to figure out the history brush in PS let alone get it to do anything for me, but you are very adept at it I think. I love your work!
