Thursday S & T, AKA the "Non Black & White S & T!
Alrighty, I wasn't able to do the black and white challenge, just wasn't feelin' those colors. But I was feelin' these:
Lauscha opaque purple, Vetrofond seagreen, white, transparent teal and lavender.

here's mine, that are definatly not black and white, I was outta the loop on that one and didn't realize it was going on...to much to get done in the summer/and keep business running....darn summer anyway....so some summer inspired beads from me
squeezed moretti/effetre from me.

Amy - Beautiful set. I'm loving those colors together. YUMMERS.
Kay - Great as always. I like the bold striped set, very graphic and pretty.
Fay - Your lady is so pretty. The 3D hair is wonderful against the flat base bead. Your shell is very cool too, unique.
I already posted my black and white beads, but am now pleased to post this very non black and white set. Here you have beads with a transparent color base, gold leaf, cased in clear OR clear base cased in transparent color. My favorite beads that I made was the one that I got too cold and cracked. Rubino Oro with gold and clear.

I don't often do black and white, here are some that definitely aren't--
I've been trying a lot more raised florals, this has a bit of dichro in the core:
And a bunch of encased florals, rubino on a white with silver base:

When I was making the beads in the first pic. I couldn't decide if I wanted to be Kimberly or Ingrid... So I pretended to be both and made a long bead with edp. I think I'm finally getting the hang of edp. The bead in the second picture resulted from my trying funky designs and trying to use rubino with out frying it. Can't decide if I like it or not. Last is a simple floral I was pleased with.

How about orange? Caliente sunset orange plain and swirled with bullseye sunflower, Lauscha orange, iceburg and steel blue, and the new ice blue. How is that for a mishmash of glass, lol.

here's a few jeff made. we also wanted to say " we hope everyone has a very safe 4th of july weekend". we are going on vacation , leaving tonight actually... to VALLEY, ALABAMA( it's near auburn, al and atlanta,ga).. My family is there and we are having a family reunion... so we won't be up here util july 6 or after... take care all.... sandra

I have been having weak results on the torch, so far, this week. So nothing to share, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy your work. Thanks for posting! Great S&T so far. Off to check out the B&W thread. . . .
