What happened?
The posts database table today became corrupted and could not be repaired. Fortunately, I had backed up the database very early this morning so that we did not lose many posts. Unfortunately, we did lose the posts since I backed it up this morning. I apologize to everyone who lost a post today. I hate to lose people's hard work and posts. We tried everything to repair before reverting to the backup, but we had no choice as we risked being down the entire July 4 weekend if we did not come back up today.
We are up now and back to normal.
It does seem to me bad things only happen on Friday's.
