Lightbulb Support for Oil Pastel?

Can anyone recommend a favorite support for oil pastels?

Although I don't work in oil pastels, I suppose you could use gessoed masonite panels coated with an abrasive surface. There are other usable alternatives on the market such as Pastelboard (mfg from Clayboard) There's an Oil Pastels Association (or something like) headed by a John Elliot I believe; perhaps they can offer some advice. 4vincent
