Question Pirahna vs. Bobcat

I'm in the market for a new torch. I have a bobcat already and I was thinking about buying a Pirahna torch (Bethlehem Burners). Comments?

Does anyone know....can it run off of an oxygen concentrator? I was looking at the Barracuda but I don't think that I need "that" much torch. Besides that, I don't think a Barracuda can run off of even 2- 5 liter concentrators.

I guess I'm looking for a more versatile flame. I know that a pirahna can go from a 2mm-15mm flame. Can anyone tell me what a bobcat is capable of?

Thank you for the help.....

Re: Pirahna vs. Bobcat

I have a Pirahna and O2 concentrator. I had also thought about a Barracuda but for my first torch I decided that it was far more than I needed.

Hi Cinda,
If you contact Bethlehem, they are so WONDERFUL with responding to any questions you have. Your best contact is Jerry Odenwelder, jerryo@bethapp.com, or 610-838-7034. He'll tell you exactly what pressure you need, etc., and even sent me more information than I asked for. Concentrators will work just fine. I was so impressed with the technical help that I decided I'd buy a Piranha if I ever move up to a bigger torch!
See you soon!
