Aah, that wonderful, wonderful light

My favourite time of day to take photos. Here are the latest of my daughter, putting up with mom and her camera once again.
All were taken with my Nikon D70 and Tamron lens AF90MM F/2.8 Di
C&C welcome of course.

Re: Aah, that wonderful, wonderful light

You have a great eye, Simone. These are wonderfully intimate portraits. It's good to see ultra close-ups like these of children. Not done as often as it should be.

Very inventive and novel, especially number 2... congratulations!

Mmmmmm....beautiful. Your little one has changed since the last shots, too, hasn't she! Just a few weeks/months older. ((((((hugs)))))))) to her, and what a clever Mummy.

Re: Aah, that wonderful, wonderful light

What lovely images! Looks late in the day to me. I always like how skin tones are affected by longer evening wavelengths, not to mention the soft, long shadows. Well done!

Chris.

Re: Aah, that wonderful, wonderful light

Thanks Carol, Ann and Chris. You're right Ann, time just flies doesn't it? Amelie is 16 months old now and changing by the day. I agree Chris, late in the day gives a lovely light to everything. I took these around 8pm, just before her bedtime.

These are gorgeous, Simone. You love them now but you'll absolutely treasure them in years to come.
