Another new ACEO

I've never really done anything in colored pencils. My Dad bought me a wonderful set of 120 prismacolored pencils for my birthday so I thought I'd give it a try.

This is "Moon & Star # 1" on 100 lb. bristol vellum paper done in cp and acrylics.

This was fun to do and I have already sketched up 3 more moon pictures to do in cp. I really like those pencils!

This is great Tamara. The more CP work I see, the more I think I will get mine out and do more with them. Don't forget to show us any other CP work you do.

The digital image doesn't capture the reflectiveness of the interference acrylics I used for a few highlights. It also really doesn't show the depth of the layers of colors used in the sky.

Thank you for the compliments. I did finish another one today and will post it tomorrow after I get it scanned.

Aww Jillian, the best thing to do with an itchy finger is to scratch it really good. The best way is using your right mouse button while your pointer is over the bid now button. Cures an itchy finger everytime!

I like it!...and it's caused me to haul out my box of 120 Prismacolors!!!
On a rare occasion I use them in conjunction with acrylics for a touchup!
