Can any one help??

Hi All,

I am trying to find a printer that will help me with producing "Glicee" prints from a few of my oil paintings for presents to my family in the UK.

I'm based in Perth, Western Australia and have spoken to several printers that have never heard of "Glicee" prints.. what I am I doing/saying wrong??

Any help would be appreciated
Good Luck to all!
Regards
Zal

Re: Can any one help??

Hi Zal:
the word is Giclee (zhee-klay'). It is a kind of inkjet printing so named for a type of printing machine. The advantage of Giclee printing is that you can usually print on small quantities on demand. Perhaps a Google search for 'giclee printers' will turn up printers in your area; you might refine that to your city, for example 'Dampier giclee'.

If you don't have the camera, equipment, or computer know-how to prepare your image for printing, look for a giclee-printing service that will photograph your work for you.
