Ooh, love the orange ones...can I ask what color that is? Is it plain ol' Moretti? Inquiring minds here!

Here's mine...can't get over this silver foil thing...

Happy torching!

I love orange and violet toegether...and Meri ,your use of foil is great! I love using it because every bead is a surprise !! Hmmm..maybe I should see if I can find my foil....it's under my frits somewhere
Here's my latest...I used the mini saturn mold and some of my very small supply of streaky pink.

OOOOH ..nummy orange!!! Very nice hot and cool contrast on those beads!!!!!! I have a tendency to work in those same combos in my fusing.
Here's an example of an etched piece I did.
It measures about 4" long from the sterling bail

Have a great nite...thanks for sharing the beautiful beads...Sandra

Sandra, that is very cool! Thanks for posting a picture!

Here's a pendant I made with one of my beads recently, and a boro bead by Chris.

My bead is just black, silver leaf, ivory and clear. Chris's??? Boro and a little bit of magic is my best guess .

WOW!!!!!! These are all amazing!

Here's mine. I used Moretti light ivory, black, intense black, dark brown, and light brown.
This was my first try at "warring states" beads and really liked the way they came out.

Sonya,

your beads are beautiful,
would you mind telling how you made the non-boro one?

Thanks!

Thank-you! The non-boro one is just a black bead wrapped in silver foil, burnish in and burn off. Then decorate with silvered ivory and twisted stringer of ivory and black. Heat and re-heat several times to get the reaction you want from the silver/ivory combination. Twist where you want twists and encase in clear. Then press with parallel mashers.

Oh WOW!! What an amazing start! I'm headed for bed (way too late as usual) and just wanted to peek in and see what new stuff had been posted.

Sandra -- I've been meaning to comment on your work for the past couple of days. It's amazing!!! I mean...just...WOW! Oh, and I see you're in Portland too! Small world! So am I!

Here's a couple of my latest beadies...

Re: Wednesday 7.13 Bead Showcase (pc for S&T)

Beautiful everyone!

Meri, really nice focal. I love organics!
Harriet, gorgeous as always
Sandra, wow! Makes me want to try my hand at fusing!
Sonya I'm in love with that organic bead! Really nice.
Teri, nice job on the warring states!
Paulette, that first bead is to die for

Here is a custom order that I finished recently. Sorry the photo is not the best, my digital camera is ancient. Rubino, light pink, trans. lavender and violett all Moretti I think.

Meri, love those bits of silver in your bead
Sandra, very modern design, really love it
Sonya, I'm mad about that first bead, black with foil etc.

Regards
Astrid
