Carrie, Nice Byzantine Bracelet!
Polly, I can't believe you can paint on such a small space! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece.
Jerry, Bella is so Precious and she looks Smart! She'll probably potty train easily.

Here's my S&T. I've been quiet lately, trying to produce work for spring sales. I'm new at weaving with sterling, but this turned out good. Not perfect, but I'm happy .

Sterling Silver, Olive Jade and Amethyst.

Re: S&T Thursday, March 8

Carrie, great bracelet.

Polly, Can't wait to see the finished piece. I use Sculpey clay to make impressions and then molds for things that I want to do in PMC. Took an imprint of a cross on my DF's tombstone, when it dried make a reverse mold with another piece and then used this to make the final cross. Not exactly the professional way I know....but it worked.

Dutch, your earrings turned out really nice.

Re: S&T Thursday, March 8

I had an appointment with the owner of a beautiful boutique this week to show her my line of jewelry. I have always admired the clothes in there. They are avant guarde and I love everything about them. I decided that it was time to start experimenting with some collage pieces that were a bit different from my more traditional line. Well I fell in love with the pieces and was sooo anxious to impress her. I did five pendants and had enough ideas to finish 5 more. To make a long story short, she glanced at them and decided that they were "throw away" pieces because someday the timepieces would stop and no one would want to wear them then. I patiently explained that the watches were design items and that no one in their right mind would want to throw away all of those small gemstones and pearls. Sigh.......deaf ears It matters not, I still love them and will continue to experiment.
Here they are for your (I hope) enjoyment.I'm sorry that these pix are so large. I'll reduce them when I have time.

Carrie, great maille!!
Polly,
Linda, beautiful silver work on your earrings.
Julie, your work is gorgeous. I would like to have everyone of them. It's too bad the shop owner couldn't get past her preconceived idea on the watch faces.
