Re: The Daily, 11th May ........... Wednesday even!
Gorgeous flower, Wendy. We've had a beautiful day again....mostly...and quite cold now...7.30 p.m.
As you will notice from my other post, I have been so domesticated today, and also started repotting our hanging baskets with violas and pansies, ready for winter colour.
Side effects of flue vaccine seem to be making me feel a bit "off", but much better today than have been for past few days. Even feel like making more bubbles .
Rob and Joy....notice that you got lost too....I had to laugh, after our mammoth 4 hours out bush last Friday! Your drive would be worse, as you got caught up in all the awful traffic.
Carol might be on her way home by now, but, of course, it's still early over your way.
Put the flower at the side of the apple pie, and all have a great day.

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!
Ah, yes, another Wednesday rolls around. I've been one busy bee lately. I have to find time to do my entry for this week's Darkroom competition.

Um, Deb - you ain't the only one!!
Wendy - nice flower - and please don't let Wednesday be over yet - still too much to do.
Ann - glad you are feeling a bit better today. Winter color? Around here that means black, white, grey and brown. I need to move where the winters are better than this. Nice flower from you, too.
Well, stuck at work with most of the work day to come, so back to it. You all have a great day -
Ray

Hi Wendy. what a gorgeous purple flower - what is it? I don't think I've come across that one over here.
Geez, Ann, you're talking of planting up hanging baskets with winter colour and I'm just planting out the summer bedding plants?? Absolutely adore your beautiful macro - right down to the pollen shaken on to its petals.
Hi Debi Lovely to see you popping in here again. Hope you manage to stick around.
And a Happy Hump Day to you too, Ray. No shirking now, the working day will soon be done and you can go home and play.
Beautiful sunshine here today but we both felt decidedly lazy. Chairs out on the patio and simply enjoyed it till the breze decided to blow more strongly and it was no longer pleasant but - that's a first for this year. Let's hope we get lots more days like it.
Hi to everyone who looks in later or simply lurks without leaving a footprint.

Re: The Daily, 11th May ........... Wednesday even!
Good evening everyone. I've been busy all day and just now got my turn at the computer. Alex was here and usurped grandpa's time with computer. School work still takes priority around here. LOL
I finely got time to cut out a new top for Alex and get it made today. Only took me three hours, but I've been having trouble finding the time.
Darn, now I think of it. I should have taken a picture of her in her new top.
Oh well, I still have a dress and two more tops to make, so I'll get it later.
Wendy, it's so nice to see you each morning. I missed you while you were away. Love the picture. What kind of flower is that? Nice comp.and DOF.
Gee Ann sound like you are having to much fun. Baking pies and potting plants, some of my favorite things.
I've never been effected by the flue vaccine myself, although Tom was the last time. You know I caught a flue anyway this last winter. Almost did me in.
Beautiful hibiscus. I imagine they grow profusely down there. What a paradise it must be. I'd love to visit New Zealand, but may not make it in this life.
Deb, that sounds like to much work.
Retirement from work is great, give one time to pursue all those things that you put off. You just need to be able to afford all the goodies.
Hi Ray, by this time you've made it well over the hump and things are looking better. Only two more days til the weekend.
Joy sometimes it nice to just kick back in your own yard. No pressure and lunch is just a step away. I'm sure that Rob will be keeping his lens on those birds that come to the feeder.
Windy, that's a perfect name for that flower. I can see it tucked on the side of her black hair. Lovely....
Have a nice evening and good morning to all of you down under.
