First spring oil

Hello,

this is my first oil painting after long time.
Size is ca. 18"X20".
There was strong counter light and I tried to catch the spring greens
somehow. The foreground is occupied by some old timber stock.

Wow, look at those juicy brush strokes! Nice to see you out with your oils, Martin! I'm so used to your OPs and gorgeous b&w work---this is a treat. Hope you'll do lots of paintings for us this season as well. (But please, give us an infusion of those wonderful P&I pieces from time to time! <wink> )

Jamie

Re: First spring oil

thank you Jamie and Israel for looking and comments !
I attended a workshop last weekend to get back into oils.
The test of the "new" equipment was o.k. so I am preparing for a short report
maybe on the weekend.
