Great picture there, and interesting approach/process.
This reminds me of art that used a photocopier some years ago, before scanners and pc's. It's interesting because it's multi-stage. The first stage is almost performance art, or it could be collage or something else. And there's a shallow 3D element and the control of the scanning and capturing process is very analogous to photography. That could be the end of it right there with a click of the print button. But you've brought that performance/staging/collage/photography into the digital world and of course the possibilities are infinite.
Sorry if I'm rambling and stating the obvious, but I find this very interesting and significant. It's like you've discovered a new medium. I'm getting ideas to stick all sorts of things in my scanner now.
