Shop the gardening area for a new art bag...they have the greatest canvas bags with lots of pockets on the sides for brushes or paint tubes! and they are big and roomy..easy to tote to a paint class!

I also noticed one at Dick Blick that has really deep pockets on the sides and is taller..made of canvas too.

I have a Richesons bag that I really love. It has long skinny pocket all along one side for brushes. It holds 10 shorter brushes and 10 long-handled brushes. I think I got it at Dick Blick.

There are gardening bags that also fit around five gallon plastic buckets. You can carry a lot of things and then sit down when you get to your favorite painting grounds.
