wde 18th March I'm no mere Cat! MI
Finally made it!!! It's been really hectic, but got here! Ouf!
First pic is my Mere Cat, followed by Selkie Song and Sea Lion Splash. All three were done with acrylic inks, and are roughly 5 x7in on cold press. I've been spending alot of time in the local Eisteddfod over the last 3 weeks or so whilst my daughter has been doing various performances and I did alot of squiggly sketching in the dark, which has led to these creatures. I also wanted to experiment with acrylic inks, which dry sooooo fast, don't they?!!! And as I'm no good with colour, I decided to push the boundaries of crediblity.... not very successful I think, but I enjoyed doing these. About 3 hours altogether.
The fourth is last week's WDE, very late... sorry! It's on 23 x 16 in Lana Mill paper in Caran d'ache OPs. I really enjoyed doing this one, though I'm not comfortable with landscapes!
All c/c would be very welcome. Thank you all for looking! Now off to see what you have all done.....

As someone said about mine (and now i understand!): you were having FUN, and it shows!!!! they are such fun... the 1st seal is my fave with the colors!! on your landscape: i love your 'great tree' and the foreground... maybe a bit more variation in the large expanse of light green in the next field..... but, as we all know, the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side.... (i'm sorry, i could NOT resist................. )forgive me!.....

Can't see why you're not comfortable with landscapes, your Suffolk scene is outstanding.
The others are all such lovely, loose, fun pieces. You were obviously having fun and that comes acros in the drawings so that they all raise a smile of appreciateion.

Your acrylic ink work is most intriguing and very appealing. It makes me want to try it out- don't think I've ever seen acrylic inks.
Your o.p. landscape is wonderful- please do lots more!
