Anyone have any suggestions on marketing your work?????????The best I've heard is beat the pavemant and visit galleries..Does this really work?Does netering juried contests help any? Sometimes it feels like you have to appeal more to what the public wants and less to your own growth, artistic development..What about making color copies ,does this devalue your credibility?I'm open for suggestions especially what to do and not to do.Ex: I've been told Establish a style. Don't work in more than 2 media. Do a large body of work .Do larger pieces. What do you think?

everybody sends 35mm slides to galleries,,,so be different and send your color xerox's. you have make your work get seen enter all the shows go to any gallery you're comfortable with....and just hope. you don't have to satisfy others, just yourself,,,that's when you will produce your best work.
