Oxy Con - how many hours is too many to buy?

Does anyone have a guideline that they use for buying oxy cons? I have seen them anywhere from 7,000 to 90,000.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Hi Brian,
Hours don't mean much if the concentrator is 'fully reconditioned'...that means repoured seive beds, rebuilt valves and compressor and cleaned, disinfected with all new filters. Be sure you are dealing with someone who understands your needs. Don't fall for the 'reconditioned' listed as all new filters...make sure you ask what they mean by reconditioned.

Sheila,
You might try contacting the company who made your concentrator. As these are used units, they don't come with manuals, but you should be able to get one. If you're having problems, contact the person you got the concentrators from and they should be able to help you.

Larry,

I'll be calling you later today. My new torch arrives later and some friends have convinced me to get an oxy concentrator rather than tanks.
