Hey guys... we're doing a "paint the same reference" thread over in the Digital channel. I thought I'd post my result here, and extend an invitation to anyone who wanted to go and take a peek. Sandra, to answer your question, Yes, the software is expensive... and to compound the situation, one feels compelled to upgrade with each new release, which is like a never ending cycle of expense. Most people think of digital as inexpensive, but when you add up the software and the printing costs it can be quite a costly medium.
